Commis Chef/ Kitchen Assistant

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Commis Chef / Kitchen Assistant to join our talented kitchen team at our beautiful hotel located in the heart of Burley.

About the Role

As a Commis Chef / Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support our committed team of 7 chefs in a busy and vibrant kitchen. Our hotel is a popular wedding and events venue, so no two days are the same. You’ll assist with food preparation, cleaning, help maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation, and play an important role in delivering great food in a dynamic environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their skills and grow within a professional kitchen.

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for food and eagerness to learn

• Some experience in a kitchen environment (preferred but not essential)

• A positive attitude and strong team ethic

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

• Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings
